OpenStack Foundation, the backer of an open-source project for software to build cloud services, has launched Project Navigator, an online tool to make it easier for new users to choose from the over 25 cloud-related services or projects offered under its aegis. The tool provides data to new users to help them differentiate between the six core services most commonly deployed across every OpenStack cloud, such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder and Swift, and optional services that they may want to use depending on their specific requirements.
