In the afternoon of November 2nd, Chengdu Documentation and Information Center, CAS, hold a staff symposium. Deputy Director of the IT Department Hu Zhengyin and associate researcher Xu Haiyun from Information Services Department gave speech on patent mining and interdisciplinary research respectively. Director of Executive Office Xiao Guohua hosted the conference and staff from all departments participated actively.

Attaching much importance to the optimization of research atmosphere and the promotion of research achievements, the Center has invited many experts from other institutions and from abroad to give speeches. Academic exchanges and sharing is also encouraged between different departments within the Center and achievements have been made so far.
